Mathias Guayasamin joins our team
The lab welcomes Mathias as a PhD student. Mathias will be working on better understanding the different populations of reticulospinal cells found in the lamprey brainstem.
In the lab of Dr. Rejean Dubuc our goal is to better understand the neural control of locomotion and respiration, and the mechanisms underlying such motor activities, whether they respond to internal cues or sensory stimuli. We work on the lamprey, a basal vertebrate model that is well suited for physiological experimentation. Please visit the links on this page to find more information.
